According to the Georgia Real Estate Commission(GREC), a licensed real estate agent must take at least 24 credit hours of state-approved continuing education courses during each 4-year licensing period. This breaks down to six credit hours of continuing education per year in order to be in good standing with the GREC. Beginning in 2007, that requirement will be raised to 12 credit hours per year of licensure!
